Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DUX4L50 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated DUX4L50 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher DUX4L50 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DUX4L50 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and LGG show a favorable association.
KIRC, UCS, and UCEC are the cancer types where DUX4L50 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
