DUSP7

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DUSP7 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 14 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of DUSP7’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where DUSP7 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types DUSP7 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BRCA and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.

COAD, KIRC, and HNSC are the cancer types where DUSP7 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
