Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DTWD1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated DTWD1 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher DTWD1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DTWD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and KIRC show a favorable association.
SCLC, UCEC, and KIRC are the cancer types where DTWD1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
