Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DTHD1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DTHD1 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher DTHD1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DTHD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LSCC, LUAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where DTHD1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
