Across TCGA cell cohorts, DSG2 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,965 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible DSG2-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Bundle of His cell-Purkinje myocyte adhesion involved in cell communication, Cardiac muscle cell-cardiac muscle cell adhesion, and Bundle of His cell to Purkinje myocyte communication. Each is linked with DSG2 in more than 15 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both DSG2-to-partner and partner-to-DSG2 results are reported.
