Across TCGA cell cohorts, DSE RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 6,380 significant associations in total. BREAST shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible DSE-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of intracellular protein transport, Regulation of defense response to virus, and Positive regulation of extracellular matrix disassembly. Each is linked with DSE in more than 15 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both DSE-to-partner and partner-to-DSE results are reported.
