Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DSCC1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DSCC1 data layer compared with 31 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher DSCC1 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DSCC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and LSCC show a favorable association.

GBM, LSCC, and HNSC are the cancer types where DSCC1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
