Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DPRXP7 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of DPRXP7’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where DPRXP7 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types DPRXP7 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BRCA and KIRP show the opposite, repressed pattern.
THCA, BRCA, and KIRP are the cancer types where DPRXP7 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
