Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DPRXP5 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of DPRXP5’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where DPRXP5 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types DPRXP5 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
THCA, LIHC, and LUAD are the cancer types where DPRXP5 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
