Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DOCK8-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated DOCK8-AS1 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher DOCK8-AS1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DOCK8-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and KIRP show a favorable association.

KIRC, KIRP, and LUSC are the cancer types where DOCK8-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
