Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DNPEP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DNPEP data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher DNPEP Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DNPEP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
COAD, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where DNPEP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
