Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DNMT3L Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DNMT3L data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher DNMT3L Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DNMT3L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, COAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where DNMT3L Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
