DNMT3A

RNA & survival
SurvivalRNAKaplan–Meier · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DNMT3A RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated DNMT3A data layer compared with 9 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher DNMT3A RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DNMT3A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and SCLC show a favorable association.

ACC, UCS, and LIHC are the cancer types where DNMT3A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.

RNA survival associations by lineage

Ranked by sampling consensus. AUC1 and AUC2 indicate survival in the high- and low-expression groups, respectively; the lower AUC marks the poorer-surviving group. p-values are from the log-rank test.
