Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DNER Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DNER data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher DNER Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DNER expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.

UVM, UCEC, and SCLC are the cancer types where DNER Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
