Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DND1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DND1 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher DND1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DND1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC show a favorable association.
SCLC are the cancer types where DND1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
