Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DNASE1L1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DNASE1L1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher DNASE1L1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DNASE1L1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and UCEC are the cancer types where DNASE1L1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
