Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DNAJC21 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DNAJC21 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher DNAJC21 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DNAJC21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, LIHC, and BLCA are the cancer types where DNAJC21 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
