Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DNAJB1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DNAJB1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher DNAJB1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DNAJB1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, STAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where DNAJB1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
