Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DNAJA4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DNAJA4 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher DNAJA4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DNAJA4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRP, LUSC, and SKCM are the cancer types where DNAJA4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
