Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DNAJA1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DNAJA1 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher DNAJA1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DNAJA1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
BLCA, PRAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where DNAJA1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
