Across TCGA patient cohorts, DMWD mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 18 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible DMWD-associated genes across cancer lineages are MSH2, p27, and Fibronectin. Each is linked with DMWD in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both DMWD-to-partner and partner-to-DMWD results are reported.
