Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DMRT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DMRT1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher DMRT1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DMRT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
BLCA, ESCA, and LIHC are the cancer types where DMRT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
