Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DMAC1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DMAC1 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher DMAC1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DMAC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
BLCA and SKCM are the cancer types where DMAC1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
