Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DLX5 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DLX5 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher DLX5 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DLX5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC are the cancer types where DLX5 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
