Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DKK3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DKK3 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher DKK3 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DKK3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.

HNSC, LSCC, and GBM are the cancer types where DKK3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
