Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DISP1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DISP1 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher DISP1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DISP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC show a favorable association.
LUAD, PDAC, and UCEC are the cancer types where DISP1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
