Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DISC1FP1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated DISC1FP1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher DISC1FP1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DISC1FP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and READ show a favorable association.

KIRP, MESO, and UVM are the cancer types where DISC1FP1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
