Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DHX40 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DHX40 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where higher DHX40 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DHX40 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
PAAD, COAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where DHX40 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
