Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DHRS1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DHRS1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher DHRS1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DHRS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
COAD, BRCA, and ESCA are the cancer types where DHRS1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
