Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DHODH Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DHODH data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher DHODH Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DHODH expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD show a favorable association.
ACC, ESCA, and LUSC are the cancer types where DHODH Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
