Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DEPDC1B RNA is linked to patient survival in 29 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated DEPDC1B data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher DEPDC1B RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DEPDC1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and COAD show a favorable association.

KIRP, MESO, and KICH are the cancer types where DEPDC1B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
