Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DENND5B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DENND5B data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where higher DENND5B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DENND5B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
PRAD, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where DENND5B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
