Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DENND5A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DENND5A data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher DENND5A mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DENND5A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.

LUAD, PDAC, and HNSC are the cancer types where DENND5A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
