Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DEGS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated DEGS1 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher DEGS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DEGS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as THCA and BRCA show a favorable association.

ACC, MESO, and KIRP are the cancer types where DEGS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
