Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DEFB132 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DEFB132 data layer compared with 15 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher DEFB132 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DEFB132 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM and LUSC are the cancer types where DEFB132 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
