Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DEFB130C RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated DEFB130C data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher DEFB130C RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DEFB130C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and PRAD show a favorable association.

MESO, LUSC, and SKCM are the cancer types where DEFB130C RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
