Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DEFB127 RNA is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated DEFB127 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where higher DEFB127 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DEFB127 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

PAAD, SKCM, and SARC are the cancer types where DEFB127 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
