Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DEFB127 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DEFB127 data layer compared with 4 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher DEFB127 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DEFB127 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD and LIHC are the cancer types where DEFB127 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
