Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DEFB115 RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated DEFB115 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher DEFB115 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DEFB115 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

HNSC, KIRC, and LIHC are the cancer types where DEFB115 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
