The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher DEFB108D RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DEFB108D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

SKCM, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where DEFB108D RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
