The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher DEFB105A RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DEFB105A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

KIRP, CESC, and PAAD are the cancer types where DEFB105A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
