DEF8

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, DEF8 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 18 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible DEF8-associated genes across cancer lineages are APOL5, BTBD16, and NPFFR1. Each is linked with DEF8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both DEF8-to-partner and partner-to-DEF8 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, APOL5 grouped by DEF8-low versus DEF8-high in BLOOD_Leukemia.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (DEF8→partner) and Y-score (partner→DEF8) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
