Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DDX43 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DDX43 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher DDX43 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DDX43 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and BLCA show a favorable association.
SKCM, OV, and UCEC are the cancer types where DDX43 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
