Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DCP1B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DCP1B data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher DCP1B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DCP1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA, CESC, and STAD are the cancer types where DCP1B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
