Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DCAF8L1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated DCAF8L1 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher DCAF8L1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DCAF8L1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and LUSC show a favorable association.
UCEC, THYM, and KICH are the cancer types where DCAF8L1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
