Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DBX1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DBX1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher DBX1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DBX1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC show a favorable association.
ESCA, UCEC, and LUSC are the cancer types where DBX1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
