Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DAZAP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DAZAP1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher DAZAP1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DAZAP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
LIHC, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where DAZAP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
