Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DACH1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated DACH1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher DACH1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DACH1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and SKCM show a favorable association.
LIHC, UCEC, and BLCA are the cancer types where DACH1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
