Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DAB1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated DAB1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher DAB1-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated DAB1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and PAAD show a favorable association.

KICH, BLCA, and DLBC are the cancer types where DAB1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
