Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CYTH2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CYTH2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher CYTH2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CYTH2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, KIRP, and LUAD are the cancer types where CYTH2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
